I’m Katalin Fekszi, the real Grandma Kató, the eponym of Kató Néni Finomságai. It is my honour to introduce you to the members of our family business.

Gyöngyi Fekszi
The vision of Grandma Kato’s Delicacies was dreamed up by my daughter Gyöngyi. With a lot of work, experimentation, organisation, ideas and will, the family recipe has become the popular Kató Néni Finomságai brand. With her knowledge, her guidance and her calmness, she encourages the family to find a task for everyone that enriches the common family heritage.
Csaba Balázsi
What does it take to run a successful business? A relationship with solid foundations, which gives you stability, confidence, strength and perseverance. The success of the family business cannot fail because of one thing, and that is the irreplaceable role of my daughter’s partner Csaba in the company.
Lili Balogh
My granddaughter, now a grown woman, brings loveliness, beauty, and modernity to the chimney cake bistros. With her insights and ideas, she transforms the traditional recipe into a desirable product for today’s world. Her teaching work with the Chimney Cake Workshop also brings international recognition to the company. Her classes give an insight into the beauty of chimney cake baking to an increasing number of foreigners.
Kristóf Balogh
My grandson Kristóf is the eye of our company, thanks to him we have professional, always imaginative, creative, colourful and cheerful pictures. Kristóf’s expertise is one of the greatest assets for the company, as his pictures not only make the chimneycakes sellable, but also help to save memories, create value and document them.
Luca Marogna
As a grandmother, I can perhaps say, but I believe even more, that this relationship is not a coincidence. Just as Lili grew up and absorbed the knowledge of making chimney cake without realising it, Luca also grew up and absorbed the knowledge of this wonderful craft as the son of a tradicional Italian ice-cream making family. So, in addition to his delightful personality, our family has been enjoying his ice cream making expertise for over 3 years.

There is another character in our story, without whom this story would not be complete. My husband, but most of all my loving partner in life, József Fekszi has been part of the success story of Kató Néni Finomságai from the very beginning.
